Spent a quiet weekend at home...cleaning, organizing my closet, and working on the website. Well, it was quiet AFTER I got done watching the Packers pre-season game against the Colts. My guys came through in the end. Thank you Mason Crosby for your magical field-goal kicking abilities!!

Today it's all about working on the Song Lyrics pages before I got out to dinner with friends. Hope you are all having a great weekend as well!

So it's been over 5 years since I updated this site, which isn't that strange when I come to think about it. "Real Life" has a way of taking over and keeping you from the things you like to do in your "Spare Time".

I've been pretty active again on LiveJournal...getting back into making icons for others to use. I even joined my first 20in20 contest. That was a hard one. Not only finding pictures that worked with the chosen themes, but making each one a bit different. I don't know if I have an icon "style" yet. I just go with what looks good.

My other side project is graphics for a video game site. Critical-Bits is a gaming site put together by my boyfriend and a couple of his friends. They report on video game news, write game reviews and do combo videos for fighting games (Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, etc.). I've been creating graphics for them to use on the site. Right now, I'm working on a Mortal Kombat game guide with separate chapters for each character. It's not what I normally do, but branching out is really cool.

As you can see, things look a wee bit different around here.

I was up until all hours of the night recoding pages and creating simple, easy-to-read banners. I still have a ways to go before it's done completely but it's a start.

Have no fear, fans of the kittens that used to grace my pages. They'll be back someday :) I checked and I've changed the layout four times in the last 3 years. Is that too much or not enough?

The ICON page is completely different. All the icons are categorized and in *cough* alphabetical order *cough* on their respective pages. It should make them all easier to find, I hope. Let me know if you see something you like...or make a request for an icon if nothing tickles your fancy.
